My plunge is not cooling properly. What should I check first?
Please ensure there is at least 30 cm of free space around the unit and that the air inlet and outlet are not blocked. Also confirm that the water hoses have not been extended, as this may reduce cooling efficiency. For full guidance, please refer to the setup section in your manual.
The ice-making function is not producing ice. What should I do?
Ice Making Mode activates at 2°C and below. We recommend starting at -1°C and adjusting from there depending on ambient temperature and water conditions. If ice-making is not required, set the temperature to 3°C or higher. Please review the Ice Making Mode section in the manual before adjusting any detailed settings.
Can I change the detailed system settings?
Your Walrus arrives pre-configured for optimal performance. We strongly recommend not changing Detailed Settings unless environmental factors require it. Please consult the manual first and contact customer service before making adjustments.
How often should I replace the filter?
We recommend replacing the main filter once per month. With daily use, consider replacing it every two weeks. The hair filter can be rinsed and reused. Please follow the step-by-step filter replacement instructions in your manual.
How often should I run the UV cycle?
For optimal water hygiene, we recommend running the UV cycle regularly - ideally daily with frequent use. With just one simple button press, the system helps eliminate bacteria and keeps your water clear and fresh. The more often the plunge is used, the more frequently you may wish to activate it. It’s a seamless way to maintain clean water while reducing the need for full water changes.
How do I properly drain the plunge?
Locate the drain at the lowest point of the unit, connect a hose if desired, open the drain valve clockwise, and wait until the tub is completely empty. Please refer to the draining section in your manual for detailed guidance.
